The three products that make up DimmidiSì’s new Fior di Foglia line of fresh bagged salads are known as Gemma di Lattuga, Petali di Lattuga and Sinfonia Spumeggiante. Born from the research conducted every day in the field by La Linea Verde in efforts to continuously improve the quality and range of its ready-to-eat fresh fruits and vegetables, these new and original varieties of lettuce have been developed ad hoc by fresh-cut seed companies. The product line is made up of lettuce products featuring small full leaves with a tender consistency and a crispy heart, all with a pleasant, sweet and delicate flavour. Thanks to the expansion of the DimmidiSí range of fresh bagged salads, a field in which La Linea Verde boasts a leading position on the domestic market, fresh-cut sector now has the opportunity to stock produce department shelves with fresh varieties of lettuce that are not even available among the loose vegetable products.
Gemma di Lattuga by DimmidiSì is a green and red multileaf lettuce with small and jagged leaves, a crunchy consistency, and a colouration that ranges from green to dark green at the tips.
Petali di Lattuga by DimmidiSì is a variety of mini-lettuce. The heads of this lettuce feature small “petal-like” leaves, with a colouration that ranges from green to dark green at the tips.
Sinfonia Spumeggiante by DimmidiSì is comprised of green lollo, red lollo and mini-lettuce. The lollo lettuce features small jagged leaves with a colouration ranging from green to intense red. The mini-lettuce, on the other hand, is a lettuce with small “petal-like” leaves, with a colouration that ranges from green to dark green at the tips.
